Almost all websites today have forms which enable users to submit information to the website. There are forms for user registering, forms for leaving comments on different articles or posts and also forms used to send messages /contact the administrators of the websites.
But there is one problem that all these forms face and that is “SPAM”.
According to oxford dictionary, SPAM is irrelevant or unsolicited messages sent over the internet typically to a large number of users for the purpose of advertising, phishing, spreading of malware etc
There are currently a lot of applications on the internet whose sole purpose is to SPAM other sites with a lot of useless information and this creates quite a headache for Administrator of such sites.
But thanx to Recaptcha SPAM can now be controlled. reCAPTCHA is a user-dialogue system run that is embedded in forms of different websites that asks users to enter words seen in distorted text images onscreen this is meant to ensure that the person filling in the form is infact a human and not a computer application.
